OVERVIEW

Our vision for Hope for US Weekends is simple:  We want to transform good marriages into great marriages, and we want troubled marriages to be healed and restored so more children will grow up in happier, healthier homes.

Hope for US Weekends are marriage intensives led by pastoral and marriage coaches that combine Christian principles with the latest research to provide specific, practical, attainable skills to help couples:

• Reconnect and develop/restore trust and forgiveness
• Promote a greater sense of "US" and oneness
• Experience deeper levels of intimacy, knowledge, and understanding of one another
• Learn the essential relationship skills required to develop, maintain, and sustain a deeply bonded and connected relationship
• Strengthen communication and conflict resolution skills
• Learn how to develop emotional regulation
• Remove some of the accumulated relational pain

WHO should consider attending?

For any couple who is experiencing marital distress and/or need help in communication, problem solving, and skills for reconnecting to each other and sustaining an intimate relationship.

COST

$800 (much cheaper than a divorce - payment arrangements can be made by contacting Tim Daugherty at couplesforchrist@afo.net). Meals and lodging are NOT covered. When the weekend intensives are held at Brasstown Valley Resort we block off rooms at a discounted rate in our name for two nights for you to call in and place the reservation in your name. Please note: Rooms must be reserved and placed in your name 10 days before the event date. No exceptions please. Two 1 1/2 hour followup sessions with Tim & Barbara are included in cost.

$780 - for the workshop & two 1 1/2 hour followup sessions + $20 for two participant workbooks

CANCELLATION POLICY

For a cancellation that occurs at least 7 days prior to the start of the event, Three Cord Strand will issue a refund minus a processing fee of 10%.  For a cancellation that occurs within 7 days of the event, Three Cord Strand will only issue a partial or full credit towards the purchase of a future event or product.  This is solely at the discretion of Three Cord Strand.

Struggling Marriages

After doing this work for more than 20 years, we have learned that our intensive personalized programs for troubled marriages are far more effective than traditional counseling or group therapy, more impactful than weekend marriage retreats, and far more meaningful than the latest book about marriage.  Our intensive programs for troubled marriages include:

1)    Hope for US Weekend is designed for a small group setting of 3 to 5 couples max.  These weekend intensives have saved 80% of troubled marriages for more than a decade.

2)    1 on 1 Intensives over a 1, 2, or 3 day period, our counseling and coaching staff works tirelessly with individuals and couples who have humbly acknowledged the need for help in navigating challenging, even devastating life circumstances.
